The non-profit
institution.

Happy Culture is a non-profit organization (NPO) created by Martin Delarosbil. As a result of serious labor problems affecting the company's significant growth (La Recharge.ca specializes in corporate printing solutions and retail), Martin decides to completely change his company's DNA by placing employees at the heart of his organization and applying simple and accessible actions to all:

- An employee is paid to remove the snow of his colleagues’ car

- A new employee spends his first day in a spa

- Areas specially reserved for children have been set up in each of the company's
divisions with a video game console, fruit juice, coloring books and parents are encouraged to bring their children to work as often as possible.

- The HappySwitch: Martin exchanges his personal vehicle with that of an employee etc.

The extraordinary impact immediately revolutionizes the atmosphere at work! However, when isolated, this impact is resolutely much too limited. But, Martin has a vision, a greater dream than the original project ... and what if we turned Quebec into a hub in innovative culture?!

He, then, decides to start the first NPO on corporate cultures in Canada with the support of partners such as the UQTR University in Quebec. A community of Canadian entrepreneurs and influencers participating in one of the most beautiful entrepreneurial missions will tackle head on a subject that is currently on everyone's lips: How to recruit, retain but also make my employees happy?

So you are a company, an influencer and you want to embark with us on this adventure?

THEN, COME ON GUYS, WE ARE WAINTING FOR YOU!

Our purpose.

Put man back in the core of the organization by motivating leaders and human resources to embrace the best practices of happiness at work.

What are the expected results?

  • Reinforce the employee’s feeling of belonging to the community
  • Ease the recruitment – develop the employer’s brand
  • Reduce the employee turnover and absenteeism rate
  • Get to really know the employees of your company
  • Determine performance metrics tracking the evolution of organizational culture.

A change was needed

«Despite a year marked by great growth, I had never been so unsatisfied. I was worn out. It was necessary to provide the company with a new culture.»

-Martin Delarosbil, champion team ball carrier and creator of The Happy Culture

Starting Point.

The Happy Culture is a concept that Martin Delarosebil, champion team ball carrier, promoted in his own company La Recharge, the first company to introduce this positive culture.

“Despite a year marked by very good growth, I had never been so unsatisfied. I was worn out. It is in this context that I went on a trip to Sweden, a country known to have the happiest people in the world. My observations helped me realize and grasp many things. Among other things, I realized that the traditional work method does not work at all with the new generation and that the culture used in my company had to undergo a major overhaul``, he explains.

The rest is history: From the moment the Happy Culture success of La Recharge was publicized, enthusiasm snowballed. Since then, a large number of entrepreneurs, CEOs or HR managers have been contacting Martin to find out how to implement the Happy Culture within their organization.

People who work at La Recharge are used to being told: ``You're lucky to work there!`` The interest and enthusiasm shown by a large number of organizations for the Happy Culture since its creation confirm that many employees will be told the same words in the coming months and years!

Being happy at work is possible!

From the very first day as entrepreneur, I always felt that the only worthwhile purpose to be in business was to improve the lives of others“.
